St. John Paul II grew up in Poland. He was Pope from 1978 to 2005 and is now referred to as St. John Paul the Great. While he was pope, he worked in many ways to bring the world to Jesus Christ. During his Pontificate, he made 104 foreign trips to over 129 countries travelling over one million kilometres!
